Client’s needs & goals:
Plant-Prod was formed when a change of ownership created two companies from what had been one. Plant-Prod was born, and it needed an online presence. In particular, the company wanted a mobile-friendly website that would create a strong first impression with greenhouse growers both through look and ease of use. Creating a good user experience meant developing a website that allowed growers from all over the globe to quickly and easily search the company’s product catalog and see only the products labeled for sale in their country.
Role of Meister Interactive:
In addition to developing the graphic look for the website and doing all of the programming associated with building this website, Meister Interactive created the geographically oriented product lookup tool and the corresponding database that populated it. We also imported all of the content from old site into the new website.
A unique wrinkle was added to the project when Plant-Prod developed a new corporate logo and brand treatment days before rolling out the website at a key, national tradeshow. Meister Interactive’s designers and programmers quickly updated the website to ensure that Plant-Prod’s websites carried the right look for the company’s re-introduction to the market.
The fully functional website launched on time to support the company’s full-scale re-introduction to the marketplace.
