As one of the leading plant breeders in the world, Suntory Flowers appreciates the value of quality visuals more than most people do. The company also understands that different visual media tell the same story in very different ways, which is why the company wanted a develop a series of video – one video for each plant family in its product catalog.
Role of Meister Interactive:
Meister Interactive produced a series of 12 videos for Suntory Flowers, and each followed the same template so that they work well together as a video family for the company. Our custom content editor produced a script for each video with an emphasis on introducing the plant and telling greenhouse growers how to successfully produce it.
Meister Interactive developed an opening and closing screen to use on each video and illustrated them using a series of still images provided by the company. (Using still images rather than shooting live video helped control costs and let the client fund more videos from its budget.)
The videos have proven so worthwhile to Suntory Flowers that the company produced additional videos to introduce plants launched in subsequent years. The videos are used on the company’s website as well as in its app, and Suntory has used them as enewsletter and website ad materials, too.
